Personal Interests: Family - married, 2 children, pets & garden. Exercise - basketball, bicycling, running & gardening. Food - especially international foods & cooking. Nature Study - mostly birds, but everything is interesting. Wilderness Travel - backpacking, hiking, skiing. International Travel - Australia, Nepal, & Baja Mexico so far.

Other: Eight-year-old son, Eric, and four-year-old daughter, Wren, keep my wife, Jane Olson, and I very busy. We have a cabin with sauna in the Keweenaw Peninsula of Upper Michigan that we don't visit often enough.
