Our collection relies on donations from our advocates, alumni and supporters to fund a substantial portion of our operations. Donor dollars help us support wages for undergraduate assistants, provide supplies for student research, fund expeditions, loan specimens to researchers around the world, maintain our database and acquire the tanks, jars, vials and preservative that we need to expand the collection with new holdings.
We welcome contributions in any amount in support of our mission and activities. You can donate via the department’s general account at the OSU Foundation, where the donation form includes a field whereby you can designate the funds for the collection’s use. We also encourage prospective donors to contact the head of our department, Selina Heppell, to discuss current needs and the specifics of any donation.
