The use of biologging technology to study animal movement and behavior, with a primary focus on seabird foraging ecology, marine habitat use, and energetics.  My interests include: how environmental variability, reproductive constraints, and breeding site location influence seabird behavior, habitat use, and foraging energetics; niche partitioning among sympatric species; sensory mechanisms of locating prey; spatial planning to protect hotspots of marine biodiversity; and conservation of threatened species.
